A regional Turkey forum , which takes off a few days ago, is earmarked for the new Alibaba’s Community channel which helps buyers and suppliers to learn, ask and share doing international trade busines online.
That brings the number of regional forums in Alibaba (HKSE1688) to 9 in total. Forums include:
- Australia Forum
- China Fourm
- Egypt Forum
- India Forum
- Japan Forum
- South Korea
- United Stated Forum
- United Kingdom Forum
The Turkey forum is fairly new and not much information is available. Lots of warm-up is required to get the engine moving. Should it get more support through online promotion? Aliuser thinks the forum has little impact to users if it stays low profile in the site.
In May, the B2B eCommerce platform sets up a fort in Turkey by strategically linking up with Logo Group, a Turkish software house.
The China B2B company, roughly acquired 200,000 registered members in Turkey so far, aimed at promoting its brand among the Turkish small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) through the alliance with Logo Group.
In the meantime, the company also made a big push to India marketplace. Chairman and Non-Executive Director of Jack Ma made a speech and presentation personally in Inda.
