Made in China.com put products in 3D show room
James Cameron’s 3D movie Avatar made an extraordinary success around the world, will this remarkable technology be applicable to trade show?
China Wholesale and sourcing trade portal Made-in-China.com tested out its concept by a launch of the industry’s first “3D Trade Fair” on its site.
The new feature, which requires users to download a small application to view the 3D effect online, provides an alternative to traditional trade shows. Buyers and suppliers will be able to view products in 3D at 360 degrees, giving them more insight on the design and dimensions of the site’s robust offering of products.
“Online trading platforms can be compared to a modern day Silk Road,” says Joseph Wong, Vice President of Made-in-China.com. “By connecting customers anywhere in the world with competitively priced Chinese goods, smaller companies are able to compete on the global stage with their larger counterparts.”
Aliuser at Tragazine.com believe that Business to business (B2B) platform success lies on product quality, suppliers reliability and eCommerce platform efficiency. A nice balance and coordination between technology and “content” to enhance site usability is critical.
