HKTDC Design Gallery promotes HK design at Taobao

International buyers including China consumers interested in Hong-Kong-design-brand products can now shop through Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC)’s Design Gallery at Taobao city.

Taobao city is currently owned by Alibaba group, it’s a core part of Taobao.com.

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is the statutory organisation promoting Hong Kong’s external trade in goods and services, it also plays a significant role of B2B online trading platform faciliating trade between buyers worldwide and China suppliers.  

The online shop is selling 100 per cent Hong Kong designs, ranging from fashion and accessories and jewellery and watches, to home-ware and lifestyle goods, gifts and stationery, as well as Hong Kong designer collections. More than 50 brands are now available on the online shop.

The new website also features the latest news on product trends, events and interviews with Hong Kong designers. Some of the information is contributed by www.style-tips.com, www.fashion.com.hk and East Touch weekly magazine.
