China biggest wholesale market received a boost in 2009
Located in Zhejiang Province, Yiwu, also known as 义乌 in simiplifed Chinese, is the largest wholesale market in China. Many small medium buyers, traders and suppliers are getting together everyday, doing business as early as Qin dynasty.

Last year, the famous small commodity marketplace recorded a 7.8 per cent jump in trade volumn, setting a new record of RMB 41.2 billion, according to the China Daily report.
Newly-set up stalls hit all-time high number of 137,000, foreign offices and businesses increased 22.7 per cent compared to last year.
Aliuser managed to have a short visit to Yiwu’s International commodities fair last year and was amazed by its number of stalls and products ranging from outdoor items, toys, footwear, apparel, accessories.
