China July export fell 23 per cent
The July economic data released by the National Bureau of Statistics confirmed that the country’s economy remains shaky.
Export in July declined 23 per cent year on year to US$627.1 billion after a 21.4 per cent fall in June.
The Consumer Price Index fell 1.8 per cent, the sixth consecutive monthly decline, after dropping 1.7 per cent in June.
China government remains determined to sustain 8 per cent GDP this year in an effort to maintain social stability and employment. By launching a range of stimulus economic policy, China economy appears to be stay afloat despite the sluggish export take a toll amid the economic downturn worldwide.
Its CPI and PPI continued to fall in July but economists are cautiously optimistic about the economic growth by the end of this year
