Brazil Ludatrade connectivity with Alibaba

China Alibaba eyes Brazil market as the first stop for South American market expansion. The B2B e-Commerce platform has signed a deal with Brazilian company Ludatrade to set her foot in the S.America soil. Late last year, Alibaba.com (HKSE1688) launched a Brazil channel to promote China and Brazil bilateral trade.

Ludatrade works with Alibaba.com in Brazil B2B marketplace

Speaking to the Brazilian media, Alibaba’s sales director Mr Timothy Leung said the cooperation was a major milestone for Alibaba to establish business relation with South America where they have 150,000 registered users from small and medium suppliers and buyers community.

Mr Leung said by collaborating with Ludatrade, which is specialized in ecommerce solutions, Alibaba would be able to cope with language and cultural barriers, hence penetrating into neighboring regions in Latin American countries.

Chinese B2B e-commerce group Alibaba is cooperating with with Ludatrade, a Brazilian company that specializes in e-commerce solutions, marking Alibaba’s formal entry into the Brazilian market.

Ludatrade said that Alibaba’s annual membership fee in Brazil is about USD4,500 and the members can gain translation and foreign trade training services along with the business platform provided by the Chinese e-commerce company.

In addition, Ludatrade will include 60% to 80% information of Brazil’s export enterprises in Alibaba’s database in ten years.
