Alipay reaches a pool of 300 million users

Alibaba group has announced that its payment arm Alipay, has just topped the 300 million registered users benchmark as of March 2010. Daily transaction volume reaches RMB 1.2 billion (US$176 million) in 5 million transaction. 

In the meantime, market circulating that Alibaba group’s engage talks with eBayPayPal unit in United States for future cooperation has not confirmed. The idea is to let PayPal add its online-payment as an option on Alibaba wholesale AliExpress.

Alipay CEO Lucy Peng remarks that 2010 is the Year of user experience at Alipay and they are commmitted to creating the best user experience possible for each and every one of their users through continued innovation and customer service. 

Alipay has the responsibility to continually ensure safe and convenient online transaction with a state-of-the art user experience, Miss Peng says
